Building a Robust Project Tracking System
Tracking project completions in Ghana’s various regions and municipalities was proving to be difficult. To address this issue, Omni Strategies developed the Delivery Tracker system, which is accessible on both web and mobile platforms.
The system uses GPS software to gather data on government projects, enabling periodic field reporting and providing real-time information on ongoing projects.
The Challenge
The governing officials of Ghana became aware of a significant issue regarding the tracking and monitoring of project completion rates across the different regions and municipalities within the country. Despite the disbursement of funds and the approval of various projects, there was no unified system in place to accurately monitor and report on the progress or overall success of these initiatives to the public.
The Solution
Omni Strategies developed and implemented the Delivery Tracker system. Available on both web and mobile platforms, the system includes GPS software to assist in collecting data on all government projects throughout the country. It allows for periodic field reporting and provides up-to-date information on changes to ongoing projects. Asides from a GIS capability, the system also boasts workflow support and a comprehensive analytical dashboard for data visualization by management.
